This recipe is a work in progress for cold brew tea. You could sweeten this after brewing with simple sugar syrup. I’m currently working on a honey simple syrup.
Ingredients
1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea per 6 -8 oz of water or one tea bag per 12 - 16 oz of water
Water
Optional: simple syrup or other sweetener
Optional: Fruit or other garnishes
Recipe Steps
Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Cook Time: 12 Hours
Total Time: 12 Hours
Measure out the appropriate amount of tea for your pitcher or brewing vessel.
Pour water and tea into the brewing vessel.
Let sit covered in the refrigerator for 6 - 12 hours
